But seriously, make a move. Beer-assisted or not.

The agonising two seconds as she considers is worth two years' worth of rolling between the sheets interspersed with Tuscan picnics and harbour strolls.

Even if it's with her slightly fatter best friend.

It's kind of an odd situation actually. I never intended to date anyone for another couple of months, until I moved into a new area and got back from a holiday. But I can't ignore this opportunity because if I did, a couple of months would kill any momentum.

We're both Christians as well so there'll be no rolling in the hay unless and until we get married. I realise that this isn't the commonly accepted wisdom, but hey I'm not exactly a common guy.

I just had the most surreal/strange experience.

I have absolutely no idea about this girl at all.

So we met up for dinner and about ten minutes in, a mutual friend shows up and starts eating with us (she was early for their movie). Anyway we only really had about an hour total before her movie started (which she was seeing with a number of other people). We went into the cinemas and I said goodbye, telling her I'd had something else organised already and the hour that we spent together was all that I had free (of course if things had really progressed I might have cancelled the other plans, but IMDB said the movie was terrible).

Fifteen minutes later I get a text from her saying that she's sorry and had a real fun time (and with a winking smiley).

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever. I still cannot work out if she was just being extra nice inviting me to the dinner party or whether she's genuinely interested. I have a feeling that there's a little bit of interest there, but she's unsure. I also think she's genuinely confused as to how I feel, which is a good thing as it makes two of us.

The funniest thing about all this is that while I am somewhat attracted to her, I mainly have been responding to what I've perceived are her actions so far.

I feel as though I am in the middle of a Seinfeld episode.

If you can't see that there's interest there then you need more help than your God can give you.

    AWTA

I for instance have to see Iron Man 2 tonight, but the strong chance of a root afterwards makes it a worthwhile experience.
