Your Favourite Albums

I'm not sure whether or not this has been done before, but given the success of the 'Favourite Song of the Week' thread, i thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where people can post their favourite albums.

I'll start of with a few that i enjoy:

Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

Not a single dud song on the album. As well as the singles, Positive Tension, Blue Lights and this Modern Love are also really great songs

U2 - Best of 1990-2000

It's U2, and it encompasses 10 years of hits, what more can i say?

The Darkness - Permission to Land

A solid album, with some great songs on it. Particularly "I believe in a thing called love"

1980-1990 was better.

'Best ofs' really shouldn't be included. It seems like cheating.

I've since reconsidered, but it'd hold down second probably, just over the new one.

As for another album, I'm going to say
AC/DC- Back in Black. Great album, with some great songs- Hells Bells, Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, Shake A Leg, etc.

Beatles - Abbey Road, Help!, The White Album, Let it be, A Hard Days Night, Rubber Soul, Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt Peppers, Beatles for Sale.
Led Zeppelin - IV, Presence, II
Metallica - S&M
Pink Floyd - Animals, Wish you Were Here, The Wall
Brian Wilson - Smile
Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat
Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction, Use Your Illusion II
Queen - Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde, Desire

Out of all those, my absolute favorite is Abbey Road. I listen to it and get transported to another place. Every track is pure brilliance and it is a fitting end to a brilliant band.
