Poetry about murder and other emo sort of things.
Go on, post yours today!
Jimmy was a baby still well in his youth I'm guessing he did not have even a tooth I have no concept of age, you see So this will have to do. I'll assume Jimmy is almost one year old On his first birthday, this story is told That is to say, that is when it is set For convenience's sake. Probably a bit too young to understand Why at this point a party was planned Well, I don't think a baby would know... They probably can't even count. Jimmy was given a box by Mama and Pop He looked at the box and whacked the top You see he didn't really get that the box was a present He'll appreciate that more when he's older. As the box was by the parents unwrapped A noise from within, it rustled and tapped I'm saying that there was something moving inside In case you thought it was just the unwrapping noises. Box unwrapped, lid removed, Dad's hands dove in Mummy was busy putting wrapping in a bin You see, when you unwrap a present, normal people throw it out Not fold it up and save it for another present. Out came Dad's hands as Mummy returned And on this day, baby Jimmy, he learned Of the existence of a small furry creature with long ears It had small eyes and was a bunny. The bunny was small and furry and had small eyes Wait, we've been through this, I apologise I honestly started this verse with those words Without thinking about it. Sorry. Jimmy looked at the bunny and the bunny looked back Wondering if this giant baby was going to attack Well, if you were that small and were looking at a giant baby with no real conscience You'd probably be a bit worried too. And then the murderous bunny murdered Jimmy to death Mummy and Daddy also this day took their last breath Because the bunny killed them all And so ends the tale of Jimmy and the murderous bunny. I'm so deep. |

g0sh Towns, that touched me on a deep personal level. A figurative touch.
I was in tears after the first two lines. <--- my excuse for only reading the first two lines.
