    RIP Fardin (cricket player)

Thanks to skd we have this news... so how many others had heard?

EDIT: may this stand as a lasting tribute to his memory... maybe some sig\subtitle alteration would be appropriate to reflect the tragic developments?

It's just so tragic. I feel quite numb. All that potential gone in a flash.

My thoughts go to his family, can hardly imagine what they must be feeling like.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Because anyone with a heart feels sad when a young life is taken that doesn't deserve to be taken?

Really tragic news there - I can't quite believe it. We used to make fun of him from time to time, but we all knew he was a really good guy at heart, and clearly he was a very talented cricketer. A huge shock. Thoughts are with his family. RIP.
