Are Man Utd taking the Mickey?

There are times that Manchester United are unfairly treated

This, however, is not one of them.

Yea I was gonna post about that earlier... I'm definitely not bothering with the lottery in future now (not that I spent any money on it before).

Will have to make do with premium bonds.

What a disgrace.

That £30,000 could have been spent on a new artificial pitch or indoor facilities for young talented sports stars and/or under-privileged kids. Shocking.

Apparently so.

Now wouldn't you think this kind of news would be a PR disaster?

Me too.

What about a team that can compete for the title or even win a knockout tie in Europe?

What a joke.

Instead of giving them money to get their staff fit, how about (United) hiring the fitness coach of Boca Juniors when their manager played the exact same team for 7 games in 20 days (and no subs?)including a brutal trip to Mexico and an another to Chile?

If your giving money to them why not to every club.

This is actually kind of similar (in a round about way) to something happening in Queensland. The Reds are sponsored by Queensland Rail which is a governmental organisation. How ****ing unfair is that? They're dishing out money to the Reds because the Bank of Queensland saw how **** they were and pulled off. So now they're showing favouritism and giving them TAXPAYERS money completely unfairly. While other sports don't see a dime.

Heh, what's the point in that? £30,000 is nothing compared to the money most clubs have, so it's hardly going to make a difference.

Or the government paying for the Gold Coast's new rugby league stadium to open in 2008, yet we have more important issues here to worry about, like water, health (it happens when you hire dodgy "doctors"), and getting this awfull road toll down.

How about Real Madrid selling their training ground to the Spanish Government for $300m, and the Spanish Government giving them it back as a presant

Corruption rules!

And as a Man Utd fan, may i just say.... We are lame... BUT, y'know, theres no harm in applying, if someone actually WANTS to give us this money then questions must be asked of them too

Besides, we need grants to pay towards staff fitness, we've gotta get Quinten Fortune back somehow (he's exhausted all the supplies in the David May Memorial Fitness Centre)

David May is somebody who has completely forgotten from my mind, unless recently.

Now by what you mean the David May Memorial Fitness Centre, some obsure reference/joke I missed or has he actually died?
