    They're not that expensive compared to the UK festivals, it's just that getting there and being there would have made it pretty expensive whilst the ones on mainland europe are really cheap. They all also don't seem to sell out quickly or at all which means you don't have to spend hours on the phone the day they come out like you do in UK.

    Matteh - Jilleys Rockworld in Manchester has done an all night festival before. mainly metal/hardcore screaming bands, had a couple of big name headliners (though too heavy/turd for me, couple of my metal-lovin' mates went)

    well Kweek we had been looking at Lowlands, but recently one in Paris has become the favourite. Lowlands don't announce their lineup until June, and i've heard rumours that aren't great, people like Arctic Monkeys etc

    There seemed to be half indie people half chavs there though oddly
