Help me find music I will like!

Hey guys...been listening to a new genre of music, kinda British pop rock/alternative (things like Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Cheifs, The Subways) a\nd I'm looking for music like this...can anyone direct me towards what I am looking for? Tried Pandora.com but it more leads me to similar technical musical elements rather than the genre as a whole...HELP!

Ta guys,

Give Bloc Party, Maximo Park, Athlete, Embrace and Aqualung a go. Perhaps Feeder too but they're a bit different.

Not all that similar but you'll probably like most of those bands. That sort of style is very big on this forum which is cool!

All of them?

If I pick one from each band:

Athlete - Wires
Embrace - Ashes or Nature's Law
Maximo Park - Postcard of a Painting
Bloc Party - umm... Like Eating Glass or Helicopter or Two More Years or Pioneers or Blue Light or ANYTHING
Feeder - Even harder... Pushing the Senses or Feeling A Moment or Buck Rogers or Just A Day or High or Just the Way I'm Feeling or anything..

They've all got alot of quality songs really, except I haven't heard alot of Maximo Park.

Bloc Party - Silent Alarm is a brilliant album.

Polytheme, Comfort in Sound and Pushing The Sense by Feeder are all good albums too.

It'd be fair to throw Franz into this thread?

Franz started the whole thing didn't they? Or atleast brought it out into the light. Apart from the ones already mentioned....maybe Blur? The Futureheads?

Simplest way =

Go buy an NME - then download/buy a track by each artist you like the sound of based on the NME's talk
