Who should i bet on for the grand national?

My dad's giving me a free bet, only i don't have a clue who to bet on, razor edge is my favourite atm because he has the best name, but i'm pretty sure that's not the best way to judge horses.

So, who should i bet on?

Clan Royal is getting my fiver this year, with another going on a sentimental each-way for Baron Windrush, who's piloted by Carl Llewellyn in his last National. @ 66-1 he's probably a glue-factory candidate, but you never know......

Be warned tho that I know the square root of sweet Fanny Adams about the gee-gees!

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

My money is on Innox, although I'll also have a go for Heros Collonges, purely because JP McNamara is riding. Talented bloke, our Jack....

Interestingly, in the pub there was a bloke who'd backed 5 horses each way, including all of the top 3 and a girl aged ~10 who'd chosen the first two and all.

Don't think she'll see any of it, actually. Her mum was almost bouncing off the walls. Phoning people up, going "Guess what my baby girl just did. Only gone and picked the FIRST TWO horses in the Grand National. We're rich." etc.

Not a particularly great betting day for me, in any case. Also backed Bradford with a handicap of 12 and Castleford, given 6 by Les Catalans.

    Final scores:
    Bradford 18-22 Warrington
    Catalans 51-14 Castleford

Bit of retrospect, but I had Numbersixvalverde at 11s.
