    The Hostel

    Has anyone seen this movie? Can you confirm or deny that this movie makes you physically ill?

    I heard reports that at a premiere of it a few months back, several people had to be taken out of a theatre by ambulance because they became so distressed.

    I'd not heard anything about it until last weekend when my uncle was talking about it, and he mentioned that it was meant to be really scary. Then again, they'd said the Blair Witch Project was going to be terrifying too... I'll definetely go see it though.

    Yeah but the difference is that The Hostel is actually horrifically gorey. Blair Witch just played on your mind, but apparently you won't sleep for weeks after seeing Hostel.

    I see it's written and directed by the same guy who did Cabin Fever. That one was gory enough, this one sounds even worse.

    It's not THE Hostel. It's just Hostel, and it's by the guy who made Cabin Fever (=crap movie, but funnily enough, one of Tarantino's favourite movies).

    Prepare to be disappointed, unless you're scared/disturbed easily.
