The Spread of Religious Filth - This MUST stop

This is following on from the thread I started called "Do you believe in God?"

My American friend sent me a link from "Google Video" of Evangelical Christians teaching their "pupils" on how to promote God and essentially disprove atheism and science.

You have to see this to believe it. It is deadly serious and quite frankly the most disturbing thing by the most deluded people that I have ever seen in my life.

Its about 28mins long, but please watch and pass comments.

You might want to punch your monitor.

Here are the links:
Trying to disprove atheists:

Also a website summarising the things that were said:

Unfortunatly these people have religion drummed into them when they are too young to know any better, as discussed in another thread.. So they aren't going to be preaching about much else..

All you have to remember is that these people are morons, the people who follow them are morons and the people who finance them are morons.

This is, in some ways, as bad as the Neo-Nazi kids in the other thread. At least in that case there were just two kids being subjected to their believes by their parents, and not being taught in a school.

These are no doubt the same people that do not want evolution or the Big Bang Theory taught in school.

It sickens me. It is such a major issue yet people brush it aside because there is a taboo about offending religious people.

That stuff about the existence of a building being proof that there is total rubbish. It depends on how you define a building. If you wanted to, you could define a pile of rocks in the middle of the jungle as a building. No-one built that, it's just there by natural development.

These people forget that the complexities of this whole argument are limited by the bounds of human language - that means it is possible for someone (like me ) to prove their points completely invalid, simply by deconstructing their semantics.

Whether they're right in saying that there's a God or not is irrelevant - they're talking complete crap.

Not really - agree with the general message though.

"If you do research into the events of the Bible like you would research an essay, you'll find it's all true......"

EDIT: And LOL @ the interviewer trying to chat up a girl in the process of telling her she's going to Hell!

LOL. That is a hillarious statement. There is more proof to back up Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (even with the artistic liberties) than the bible.... my response to them would be :

" yes, some stuff said in the bible is undeniably true. But the most efficient lies are not the ones which are blatantly and completely false but ones that are liberal with the facts and mix a teaspoon of facts with an ocean of fiction and point to the teaspoon to justify the accuracy of the fictional ocean when someone questions it".
