    Cable Guy

at least lord of the flies was based on a decent novel, just converted into a film in really poor fashion.

    Lord of the Flies

For being awful and missing the point by a chasmic distance. No lfilm with the line "the Russians aren't going to capture you and make you enter the Olympics" ever deserves any respect.

    Cable Guy.

Can't wait for Biodome to come up. I'll be trying to get it all the way through to the final.

Nobody else bothered to watch that one.

Lord of the Flies - simply because I cannot believe a line like that should appear in that film...

The Cable Guy is a perfectly acceptable movie... above average, in fact.

    Therefore, Lord Of The Flies.

I was 11 when I first read 'Lord of the Flies' - an absolutely stunning book that turned me into a Golding freak. I was 12 when I saw the original film - a chilling study into the breakdown of a society without the presence of a stabilising influence. Then this pile of rubbish comes along and misses just about every point going.

I've never seen Cable Guy - but it's got to be better - surely?

Lord of the Flies. I've seen the original movie, which I thought was pretty good, and the book was also a good read, but from what I've heard this movie is terrible. Cable Guy is good anyway.

How can Super Mario Bros. be there? If anything, the song Roxette sang redeems the movie. "I love when you do that hocus pocus to me ...."

I've never seen Lord Of The Flies, but I disliked Cable Guy. So, Cable Guy.
