worst feeling ever

on my way home from a night shift and i had a micro sleep on the pacific highway 20 mins outside my house, 2 seconds i feel asleep for and i hit a guard rail that stopped me dropping 50 meters.....

never been so scared before in all my life, hearing that initial touch of the rail at 90 kph..........

car has 4k damage but that can be fixed..........

anyone else had this happen, really wakes you up.......

**** man that is so savage, glad you are ok. Sometimes when i'm driving i think how easy it is to do, especially on a quiet motorway in a warm car when its dark. I'm gonna make sure i pull over for a bit in the future if i feel a bit dodgy. It's just not worth the risk.

that is so true, the highway which i drive along, the f3 is so dark and straight and so deserted at 1am, then my exit is just as dark and even worse more secluded and deserted, so as u said, dark car and comfy with cruise control i can see how easy it was for me.....but yes i too will be stopping and getting out for 5 mins.....just NOT worth it!

Good think, it would have totally killed you and the car if it was the pulsar, just curious what was it exactly that you were driving?
