G'day guys and girls I run an annual poll in which people can vote for their favorite songs of the past 12 months (October of the previous year - October of the current year).

Just opening this poll up to the good people at cricket web!

For all the details, click here.

Voting ends October 14, and you can vote as many times as you wish within the limits outlined on the Top 50 explained page.

Yeah, rather narrow list there...

Best single of 2005 for me was probably Tom Waits' "Let It Rain". It's certainly the only one I would have considered buying.

why doesn't the poll include the final 2 and a half months of 2005. lacks creditability imho

They'll be in next year's one. I don't know why. I just always did it in October :-\
