Hello i wanted to ask some people here (non-indian, pakz or bangladeshi), do you follow some of the music (any particular artist?) made in the sub-continent or any other type of entertainment? if u do then how did u find it?

Hello i wanted to ask some people here (non-indian, pakz or bangladeshi), do you follow some of the music (any particular artist?) made in the sub-continent or any other type of entertainment? if u do then how did u find it?

I have a Pakistani friend who has a large collection of Bhangra music and other types of music from that area, and I've heard a bit of it - some of it sounds pretty good, although I don't understand any of it, not speaking the language.

I've heard a few songs that my friend says were made by British Asian artists trying to bridge the gap between Asian music and Hip-Hop or R&B, and they sound OK as well - artists like Jay Sean and Raghav have helped to bring Asian music into mainstream music a little more recently as well, so the scene is growing in this country I think.
