    Writing a book

A question for the literary (or just generally artistically) minded among you.

Can pretentious late teen ("quarter life crisis") existential angst POSSIBLY be good?

    imo- YES.

Yes, but only if written by someone who isn't going through it at the time. Written retroactively by someone more mature it can be good, but written by teenagers it just sounds disturbing and confused - you only learn to make sense of it all once you get older (apparently).

Disturbing books usually are a good read, then afterwards you wish you hadn't read them.

Blaze, you are still at school? Where did you find the time to write a book? I would probably need to take a year off life to be bothered with it.

Yeah 7th form. I would usually write from 4 til 5 each day, even longer if the flow was happening. I would write more in the holidays. Often showed my progress to a few people and got lots of encouragment which kept me going. I stopped for 3 months or so when I was just sick of it all, didn't think the idea was working but then got back into it and couldn't stop.

it was an epic war drama/movie tbh. it would make compelling viewing in my opinion. especially the scene where jeremy john mohekey is gunned down.

martin, have you started the book yet?
