    Rip

    Full story

Thought's go to his family, this shows how tragic motor sport (and in particular rally driving) can be.
Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick once and you suck forever...

RIP Fardin Qayyumi, a true legend of CW

    Tragic news, RIP.

Was pretty peeved they cancelled the whole rally because of it though - in motor sport, a death is tragic but not exactly unexpected, and when Ayrton Senna (sp) died, they carried on with the race. I can see a case for stopping it, but personally I didn't think it necessary.

Well, the other drivers are obviously going to be shook up by the death of someone who is doing the same circuit as they are. They won't be fully focussed, and I'd also say that, if a death occurs, the reason the death occurred could be to the hazardous nature of the course itself

Ja very sad, I think cancelling the remaining stages was the right thing to do though, would have been a horrible atmosphere for the remainder of the rally, RIP..

That race weekend should have been cancelled long before the race started. They have the decision dead right here, RIP.
