one of my closest brahs turned 17.. and i was near my 16 birthday i think.. anyway it was at his birthday party.. wow was i off the chain off a couple of drinks.. i crave for that tolerance level these days..

what do people think about under 18s drinking
Septermber 7th 1999.
First house party during orientation week ( i had a drinks a few times before that but nothing major- like nursing a glass of champagne on highschool prom night for the whole night)- polished off 3 beers and then an entire mickey of vodka- actually chugged the last half of it.
Next day i thought that jumping off of a cliff would've been less painful...
There a lot of them who are fools and cant control themselves..they bring shame to the minority of the ermm level headed under 18 drinkers...lol

It's a reality. I don't think anyone is any more capable of handling alcohol at 18 than at 17 or even 15 necessarily, it's all about how much you drink and what you do when you have been drinking.
Anyway, I guess the first time I can remember getting seriously drunk (rather than having like two beers or something) would be when a friend and I got a bottle of some sort of horrific cheap bourbon and drank it with coke. We were about 14 or so, and a bottle of bourbon between two 14 year olds went a long way. I actually drank a lot more heavily in my mid teens than I would now, and looking back on it I was lucky I never made myself seriously ill, because I did some stupid things.

Fair enough.. my parents didn't let me touch any alcohol before I was 18..
It just made me go that much crazier when I actually got some (before 18).
Alcohol before the age of 18's fine, as long as you don't go crazy with it or develop any kind of dependance.. But I guess that applies to all ages..

first time i got drunk was in yr 11 at a party. Had passion pop and it was disgusting. Vomited quite a bit and didnt drink for the rest of the year
I remember my first drink was a bottle of cheap but killer Vodka Kristov.. me and my mate drank the bottle neat.. mixed with sprite ofcourse.. and it got us leanin..
My head hurts just thinking about it... my first was a few years ago.. my friends party, i cant remember anything of that night lol

Completely smashed? Well, it would be last year (when I was 17) when I went to my gf's place in Victoria . Before that I only had drunk a bit at gatherings and things.
We bought a bottle of vodka to go with some we already had at her place, invited one of her friends around, and proceeded to get hammered playing Tekken Tag Tournament.
That was followed by a night at the pub getting smashed, again. We are very smart people:rolleyes:

why do people drink ? I have tried couple of times, but 1. I didn't like the taste 2. didnt like the feeling after getting drunk and that's why I have never been able to figure out why or how people enjoy drinking. Can someone help ? I drink beer though but purely socially and 2-3 cans is my limit (needless to say not enough to feel drunk).
How embarrassing...
