How many of you smoke regulary...
Given that I cycle to work and I compete in the sport and climb hills to a reasonable good degree (I go down them like a madman) it would be obvious that no I do not smoke.
Most of the people at work smoke and if their smoke comes my way I just turn my head away and cover my nose.
No way. There aren't many things in the world I hate more than cigarette smoke.
Not me, giving yourself lung-cancer isnt the most intelligent pastime

I hate it with a passion. I am 38 and have never tried them. It is quite strange to see people puffing their heads off in the crowd during the Cricket from England.
You know it makes sense.

With all the education most people are getting in developed countries, it amazes me how people still smoke. Not only does it carry the obvious health hazards, it's also a huge waste of money. It amazes me when people fill up their tanks of (expensive) fuel, start *****ing about the prices and then buy two packets of smokes.
Money well burnt..
Although I am guilty of occasionally smoking when I'm out drinking. In extreme moderation though.
I don't mind at all andy. It's not that big a deal for me. the sober version of me thinks smoking is stupid. But when I am drunk and out and usually cold here in NZ in winter and there are a group of people smoking then I will join in.
naaa has i said i only smoke when i'm drunk, usually i dont do it.Originally Posted by andyc

And I agree with you there, you'll see families struggling to send their kids through school or buy a new car, but they still smoke. A quick internet check says that cigarettes can go from about $10 upwards... so a pack a day for a year would be $3650, and $36,500 in ten years. I'm not sure how it is in Australia, but in Shanghai they drilled us about not smoking in school, and I've been brought up not to (despite living in China)..
