    I read it actually.

Quite remarkable, both that it happened and that I'd never heard of it before.

I read it too. I was going to say something but with a story like that the words just kind of jam up.
'Copperfield,' said Mr. Micawber, 'farewell! Every happiness and prosperity! If, in the progress of revolving years, I could persuade myself that my blighted destiny had been a warning to you, I should feel that I had not occupied another man's place in existence altogether in vain.

Shouldnt have removed it Pommie. Certainly one of those things enough to drive a person to a desperate point of no return.

The main problem is that this post was put up while a lot of posters were following the Ashes thread, and hardly anyone was at off-topic.

I read it quickly though - a sad story, and I went to wikipedia, and off the article about this guy was a related link about a newsreader that killed herself on air. Actually, that was even sadder.

I was going to say that Dwyer comparing himself to a modern-day Job was a bit over the top, but then I realised what a strange thing that would be to say given what he did next...

Anyway, if people want to read about it, here's the wikipedia link:

"FFS I'm sick and tired of having to see a bloke bend over to pick something up or lean over and see their arse crack. For christ's sake pull your pants up or buy some underpants you bogan because nobody want's to see it. And this is a boat building shed (well one of them) not a porn studio."

    Thanks Slow Love™.

I just copied the text from Wikipedia and I recommend you all read the page thoroughly. It's a very interesting story indeed.
