Futurama fans?

Apart from me who is a fan of the TV series Futurama?

If you are you will know that one of the quotes in my sig is from the intro from Futurama intro where they have one of those irrelevant one-liners (except they are good to use in sigs).

Excellent show, superior even to the Simpsons IMO, though it never gained the same audience

Probably funnier than The Simpsons, because less time in the program is wasted on putting in jokes the dimwits of the world (ie Friends fans) can get.

I love Futurama...one of my favourite shows. It doesn't compare (IMO) to The Simpsons when it was in it's prime though.

Has anyone seen that one with the Neutral Planet, where their motto is "Live Free or Don't" and when they get attacked and sound a 'beige alert.'

A good show, but IMO The Simpsons is better. Futurama contained far too many lame jokes, the kind my friends and I crack most of the time. And it might be just me, but I find The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy reading like a transcript of the show Futurama, only funnier and subtler.

Instead they have to spend time explaining it to the moronic Scrabble-playing Northerners instead.

Yes, it's a perfect scale model of the universe's largest bottle. I put a tiny spaceship inside to keep it from being boring.
