Relations & Functions

Here is one of the most complicated things i've ever done in maths its so confusing

FH (X) = 2X - 3
X +4

Find A: H (-3)
B: H(1/2)
C: H(5)

D: Calculate the value for X if (1): H(X) = 3
(2): H(X) is undefined

A ---> x = -1.8
B ---> x = 5 and a third
C ---> x = -5 and two thirds
Da ---> x = -15
Db ---> x = (3 + 4H(X)) over (2 - H(X))

I thinks...

What you have do is thus get the X by itself...

I think it might be a paint job to show you :P

I'll post it in a second.

Makes it cleaner later on...

It just makes it easier to only have 1 negative item instead of 3. Helps later on, i feel.

And the best bit is that you are allowed to do that kind of thing, to clean up maths when x and y are involved.
