Your 15 Minutes of Fame

In light of Sam getting a poem published, I thought it would be interesting to hear about your 15 minutes of fame.

My main one was I was chosen to go to Hyde Park (in Sydney) last year for the launch of the new Modern History course for high schools. I had to talk about my great-grandfather's participation in WWI. Anyway, I was interviewed by then NSW Premier Bob Carr and then Deputy Premier Andrew Refshauge. I was also interviewed by Channel 9 and got on the six o'clock news. I had people saying to me for ages 'Hey, I saw you on the news.'

Feel free to divulge your tales

Me and fellow cricketwebber DJellet had our own T.V show around the end of last year, start of this year. Only on Ch.31 (a small, cheap aussie station). As for people recognizing us....well it only happened once....like i said, small station.

I once snogged Dame Judi Dench's daughter. Do I win a prize?

Yeah, think she won an Oscar for something or other too. She's James Bond's boss "M" as well now.

I hasten to emphasise that it was her daughter; Dame Judi being over a decade older than my mum even!

Think you're confusing me with someone else.....
