I had a poem published when I was 11, in a book like Sam's.
(It's a Limerick)
There once was a girl from Dundee,
Who went on a large shopping spree
She bought the Titanic,
Got in a blind panic,
And sunk to the floor of the sea
Isn't that great...
Or something.
RIP Fardin Qayyumi (AKA "cricket player"; "Bob"), 1/11/1990 - 15/4/2006
I remember a limerick I wrote in like year 3
There once was a man called Dale
Who used to always fail
His teachers said, "No,
You'll have to go,"
And with that he turned very pale
There now is a spinner called Dave
And the West Indies test team he'll save
In fifty years time
They'll remember his prime
And that no four balls he ever gave
Nice one Piper.
I had one of my poems published in a book last year. I never saw the book in any shops though, but still it was nice to get it published.
Well done! Keep up the creative writing, I don't have much time anymore but it's something I am definately going to get back into.
