Love Is Deep and Meaningful
Love is deep and meaningful.
Yet, our love cannot be.
The way it has turned out is so hurtful,
It really hurt me.
I thought you were special and that we would last a long time,
But now i realise that you will never be mine!
You're living your life without me,
While i lie crying, thinking of you and me.
You were so close for a time,
But now you are so far away, i can't see your face.
I remember the time when you were mine,
But now love has forgotten this lonely place.
Every time i see you or talk to you,
The pain is unbearable.
I know I should start anew.
Now that I see you are moving on, it's so unimaginable.
Many nights I stayed up just to talk to you,
I thought you felt the same,
But now i know that it was just to suit you.
I lie awake at night trying to tame the tears that you made.

Many years have past since that sad July day,
The day you took your love away,
I wonder where you are now?
It's been so long, so much has happened,
Since that final row.
Much has been said, seen and done.
But I still want you desperately.
I hope that you love and are loved,
I hope that you are happy and live forever with your beloved.
I also hope that one day, in this life or the next,
That we can see each other once again,
"If God asked me what I did with my life, I would say I spent it with you!"
