    Best Movie/TV Quotes

I realise there is already a movie thread, but I thought I would create a thread purely for your favourite film and television quotes.

Here are a few to get things rolling:

"Garth, marriage is punishment for shoplifting in some countries" - Wayne from Wayne's World

    Gozer: Are you a God?
Ray: [Peter nods to Ray] No.
    Gozer: Then... DIE!
    - Ghosbusters

Meg: I can't believe I fell in love with Neil!
Lois: I can't believe I did that to Neil!
Peter: I still can't believe it's not butter!

Brian: Peter, did you read the fine print on this loan contract?
Peter: Um, if by "read" you mean imagined a naked lady, then, yes.

Peter talking to the camera: ...but I'll tell you what's not cool--killing strippers. Strippers are people too; naked people who may be willing to pleasure you for a price you negotiate later behind the curtain of a VIP room. Besides, there's no reason to kill them, 'cause most of them are already dead inside...

    Family guy...... simply the best

We are the Knights who say "Ni"
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

    " ' I crossed the line, I'm sorry '

' Crossed the line! You can't even see the line. The Line is a dot to you! ' "

    Classic.
    Or something.

    "What a strange person."

"Now look here, my good man--"

"I don't wanna talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!"

    I'm afraid I can't repeat the greatest movie speech of all time on this forum (the speech at the UN in Team America: World Police) so I'll have to settle for good old Brick Tamlyn again;

"Do you know what they're ******* shouting out there? 'Bassett's a ******! Bassett's a ******! Bassett's a ******!' They shouldn't be ******* shouting at me, they should be ******* shouting at you! And do you know why? Because it's ******* half time and your ******* 2-0 down to the ******* Mexicans!! What's ******* wrong with you?! Where's your ******* bottle gone?!?! There are ******* thousands of kids out there who'd ******* die to put that ******* shirt on! So ******* get it together or ******* get on the ****** next ******* plane home!! You got that?!?!" - Mike Bassett: England manager

Thanks, Top Cat, forgot about Team America. There's just too many, but here are a few of my favourites:

Okay, a limousine that can fly. Now I have seen everything
Really, have you seen a man eat his own head?
    No...
So then you haven't seen everything. And neither have we.

Buck. Derk Derka la. Derka Derka, Mohammad Jihad. Taka shirpa shirpa. A buck ala
    Oh derka derka derka

From what Intelligence has gathered, it would be 9-11 times 100
    9-11 times 100? Jesus, that's...
Yes. Ninety one thousand, one hundred

It will be 9-11 times 2,356
My god, that's... I don't even know what that is!
    Nobody does...

    Matt Damon...

One of the great songs from it,
    Pearl Harbour Sucked:
I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark
    When he made Pearl Harbour
I miss you more than that movie missed the point
And that's an awful lot, girl

And now, now you've gone away
And all I'm trying to say
    Is Pearl Harbour sucked
    And I miss you

I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school
He was terrible in that film
I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part
He's way better than Ben Affleck
Now, All I can think about is your smile
    And that s****y movie too
Pearl Harbour sucked, and I miss you

Why does Michael Bay keep on making movies
    I guess Pearl Harbour sucked
Just a little bit more than I miss you

I would love to include the speech about d***s, p******s and a**holes, but it would be way too inappropriate.

    Funniest Lines:
Ron Burgundy: Brick, are you just looking at things in the office and saying that you love them?
    Brick Tamland: I love lamp.
Ron Burgundy: Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it?
Brick Tamland: I love lamp! I love lamp.

I would choose something by the gunnery seargent in Full Metal Jacket.... but he cant go two words without swearing

    Coolest line:
'The greatest trick the Devil pulled was convincing the world he didnt exist' - Usual Suspects
"All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusions is called a philosopher." - Ambrose Bierce
Langeveldt: I of course blame their parents.. and unchecked immigration!
GingerFurball: He's Austrian, they tend to produce the odd ****ed up individual
Burgey: Be careful dealing with neighbours whose cars don't have wheels but whose houses do.
Uppercut: Maybe I just need better strippers
