I just had a haircut

I hadn't had one for about a year, so it was a major moment in my life btw.

Usually I would just go for something conservative like a short back and sides, but this time I actually chose my 'do from a book of photos of totally hawt metro guys that the hairdresser showed me. The result was a fairly outstanding haircut which compliments my supreme masculine beauty.

Any exciting haircut stories to tell? I don't care btw, I'd rather you just used this thread to congratulate me on the haircut.

Fairly self-indulgent stuff really.

Hey, I somehow managed to make myself more attractive. That's a better achievement than getting older imo.

I've only had one haircut since December.

I'm worried - someone recently asked me whether I was a Guy Sebastian fan because of it

Ironically I just had one. Mine had gone 10 months and I started to look like Orphan Annie

Now I just look like ROnald McDOnald.

tbh, I was compared to Fabio. But I took that as a compliment, even though he is pretty old.

And Clarence- thanks. You're a true friend.

Kurt, I don't think Reuben was accusing me of lying. He was just suggesting that sometimes fat Garys can get the hos and stuff. Pretty thought-provoking words.

A few years ago I was getting a haircut from an apprentice. She slipped with the clippers, the attachment fell off and left a bald patch on the back of my head. I had to get the rest of my hair cut really short as a result.

The other story, the place I go has someone wash your hair in the basin pre-haircut. In the 6 years I had gone, my hair had always been massaged by a hot chick. But to my suprise a guy did it. I had my hair massaged by a guy, who kept talking to me about hair styling products and everything else hair related. Don't think I've felt that tense before.. No, not there..

shounak0, theres nothing wrong with discussing that kind of stuff. i'm sure he wasn't coming onto you. all he wanted was a friendly conversation about hair, but you're so high and mighty you couldn't even do that. you've got a lot of growing up to do buddy.

I'm having a haircut at 1.15 today. That's what you get for letting your non-cricket loving gf book your appointments for you!

Back when I was a stude I did the typical studenty thing of growing my hair. Got fairly long & I also felt the need to grow a Dizzy-esque goatee. Oh, the shame!
