Yeh i would say about that... and ur on 301 so ur not a newbie anymoreOriginally Posted by Monty
i think it is more done on time rather than post count. Ie anyone who has been here for less than 6 months is still a newbie......
I would guess that would be when the majority of regulars can easily recognise your username, associate it with your avatar and general attitude/level of knowledge/quality/style of posts.
Different for everyone, but yeah, I think you're probably still a littlun![]()

Going with neil on that one, i mean, look at me v king ponting, i've been here supposidly 5 months longer than him, and look at our post counts..... think i'm kinda more of a newbie than him (probably because i just lurked in the ICC section for ages, before coming to annoy you all out here)
In my eyes you stop being a newbie when
A) people can throw humourous insults at pretty much any of your posts, no matter how innoculous they are (ie i've noticed no matter what voltman says, it always ends up back at his relationships with the recently departed)
B) you've made your first pass at piper
just my pennies worth![]()

I'd say that's as close a description as we'd get - when those old stagers know you well enough to take the p*ss
