uneasy times, dudes

tonight chances are I'll have to hang out with this guy who I think is a total lamer, and really fellas, he is. when he tells a joke, he always laugh afterwards. not once have i found one of his jokes funny. this leads to an awkward situation where i suppose i'm just meant to laugh even though i don't want to. yet, i somehow force the laughter. apparently though, forcing laughter can cause stomach ulcers. i don't want to get stomach ulcer ffs. so should i just not laugh in future? perhaps i should say to him, "you shouldn't laugh at your own jokes, especially when they're not funny." i'll definitely be considering these options tonight.

ive never heard forcing laughter can cause stomach ulcers (googled - they are cause by these - The direct cause of peptic ulcers is the destruction of the gastric or intestinal mucosal lining of the stomach by hydrochloric acid, an acid normally present in the digestive juices of the stomach. Infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori is thought to play an important role in causing both gastric and duodenal ulcers. Helicobacter pylori may be transmitted from person to person through contaminated food and water. Antibiotics are the most effective treatment for Helicobacter pylori peptic ulcers.

Injury of the gastric mucosal lining, and weakening of the mucous defenses are also responsible for gastric ulcers. Excess secretion of hydrochloric acid, genetic predisposition, and psychological stress are important contributing factors in the formation and worsening of duodenal ulcers.

Another major cause of ulcers is the chronic use of anti-inflammatory medications, such as aspirin. Cigarette smoking is also an important cause of ulcer formation and ulcer treatment failure.)

maybe just laugh a little as in he is amusing, but not funny, laugh to be polite but dont encourage his joke telling.

Shallow in reference to the friends he choses? How is he being shallow unless he is judging them on their looks alone?

Kurt your answers lie within those quotes itself.. do whatevers best because i heard stomach ulcers arent good and it wouldnt be best for you at this young age..Be straight up and keep him shot down in large groups..that way there will be a less likely chance of him crackin lame *** jokes..
