Icon6 Sledgers trip to lords !!!!

Right then amigos, this will be my last entry before i depart for the great ground itself, which means i will not be taking my usual spell on CW. Will i see andrew strauss get his 3rd test century in a row at this great old ground? only time will tell, il be sure to give you all a great report when i return,

my tickets dont cost a penny, a friend of mine knows an mcc member who doesnt want to go so hes given us the tickets.

I will be joining Sledger at Lords on thursday for my yearly short pilgramidge too lords, the mcc man is going but he manged too get hold of some extra tickets so the members stands it is full of straw hats and mcc ties. I am hoping that is will be a beutifull sunny day and England will stack up the runs

i remember me and my dad trash talking the mcc members. they sat there shielded from the cold wind blowing through the ground while we froze. what *******s

Nope, (I'm a "back in my day type" when it comes to cricket)... they are just very stuffy and unaccomadating..

I always point to the time Allan Donald was leaning on the balcony after thrashing England out of sight in 1994.. He was draped in the brand new SA flag of democracy and was told "Sorry, no flags on display in the ground please"

Then they refused Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu access to the SA dressing room (i think).. Possibly two of the most special human beings of the 20th century.. Do you think they would tell Jesus Christ to f*** off?
