Hey guys

I'm thinking of spraying my car with colour changing paint. Does anyone know somewhere in Australia or somewhere that i can cheaply buy the stuff? Looking at something like this http://www.alsacorp.com/products/xpo...t_prodinfo.htm or this

Don't do it. If it's the paint I think it is, then no matter which angle you look at it from, it always looks half-painted with different colours, never a full colour change from one to the other. Christ, buy yourself a couple of fluffy dice instead!

It only takes about a gallon of paint to paint a car. Roughly four litres. But the cost isn't in the paint itself.

Most panel beaters or decent spray painters will charge about 2 - 3 grand just to apply the stuff. It seems excessive. But they have to take off every panel with paint, strip it off any accesories (ie, badges or chrome trims), strip the paint, prime it and then apply the paint.

You'll probably end up setting yourself back about 5 grand

You should also check Australian Design Laws. This one probably will be allowed, but other paints, like the chrome one are illegal.

edit. forgot about the base coat and everything. What car is it for btw?

A vs S would be worth about 6 grand i reckon. You're spending half the value of the car on the paint job.

Understandable if you really love the car. Is the supercharger stock from the S or did you get it fitted aftermarket? You done anything else to it?
