Pickup is one of the few reasonable Englishmen on this forum.

Most of them are so full of themselves.....
e.g Marc "England can do no wrong"
Scaly_Piscine "quite frankly, dear chap England uber alles"
Richard "I am right and you are a muppet"
Tooextrafool "I am right and you are a fool"

All he has to do is open the batting. Oh wait they will be one down already.

2 down if he faces second (he'll run the other opener out)

This is the funniest thread. I seem to have taken quite a shine to "Neil Pickup's cricket"- bashing. Keep it up, please..

Yeah that was quite good, you surprised me with the "bounce" (the fact that it bounced near me).. Cannot believe I didn't bowl you, but I'd like some fielders for the edges..

Can't make Sunday, off to the beach.. Maybe some time in the week?

I thought of him once or twice when my psycho friend drives me around the town in his pickup truck, barelling down the hillside/mountainside at around 100mph.... Somehow with his upraised arms pose in his icon, i always get a feeling of Neil driving in a similar pattern, givne the carefree and 'hallelujah' nature of that picture.

I'm working daytimes at a middle school in the City next week, but from 4pm onwards on any weekday is good (probably not Monday Wednesday Thursday or Friday actually as I have kids to coach). Tuesday then.
