Total stab in the dark, but how about an Al-Qaeda related activety for Britian's relationship with old mate Bush? Anyone?

Two people confirmed dead and at least 90 injured!

EDIT: Just heard on the news that they (British government) probably had some information that this might happen in the last few days.

I think it may well be more related to the G8 summit.

I'm not sure it's al-Qaeda - sounds sick, but there don't seem to be enough deaths compared to their previous attacks.

This will sound completely insensitive. But there's only two deaths, it's terrible but not that terrible. It's not like we live in Britain, channel 7 should keep the cricket on and give updates every so often. Not put it on for 20 mins at a time and claim it's an "update". I'm sure there's more people wanting to watch the cricket than politicians mourning about the state of their city.

If it is related to G8, wouldn't it be better to target it near where they are having it in Scotland, or London is more of a central attack, more effective location in London?

the explosive devices used dont seem to be powerful enough for it to be an alqueda related attack. I agree with neil, has to be something to do with the G8 summit
