i don't know how many people on this forum are familiar with yulefest, but in australia it's a huge event that everybody loves. it's also known as christmas in july. yulefest was invented by canadians tourists who were reminded of christmas by the cold and perhaps snowy conditions of the blue mountains, a short drive west of sydney. it's not so much about gifts or jesus as it is all you can eat buffets, sing-a-longs and having a good time with friends

i prefer yulefest over christmas because it lasts longer and it doesn't take itself so seriously
