i would do it myself, but my behaviour record pobably isnt good enough (despite being near perfection recently) to get me that position, dont think i would be universally popular either. Doesnt stop me wanting to do it lol

so whos applied or intends to ?

In my experience (FWIW) it's a bad idea to have people apply for moderator status. I think the best ones either do it kinda grudgingly or accept it on request without having a massive desire for it in the first place.

I'm not sure why we need more moderators for OT specifically (I would be in favor of more for the CC forum though), but if more were needed I would suggest BoyBrumby, Faaip or Anil for the job (should they be interested at all). They are all very mature and level-headed (and highly unlikely to snap...). And maybe Deja Moo...

EDIT: Oh, and maybe Samuel Vimes...
