Friends vs Seinfield

Which do you find funnier and why?

I have watched almost all of friends of DVD and its hilarious. I have just watched 2 episodes of Seinfield and will watch a lot more of the DVDs of Seinfield I have in due course. So early to decide for me concusively.

I've watched more Friends than Seinfeld, so I'll be a bit biased. Same goes with Frasier.

I do think though, that Friends lost the charm as it dragged on. I didn't entirely enjoy the last 2-3 seasons.

Friends had some classic moments, but also had those emotional things in it aswell. Seinfeld didn't have to worry about those, because the characters would often make fun of their relationships etc. Seinfeld is a lot more funnier than Friends, but they both have their good points and bad points, like Seinfeld often had very similar shows a few times.

i like both, but early seasons of friends have some of my favourites....as sudeep said, the last 2-3 seasons of friends, they mostly sucked and looked drained of humorous ideas..

I like both, but I like Seinfeld more because it's so different. The 4 characters would get into the stupidest problems, and every episode is good imo.

more of a Friends bloke my self..however the comedy that blows them both out of the water, and is written by the co-writer of Seinfeld, Larry David, is 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

I'll just add that I've never seen Seinfeld, but I bet it won't be as good as Friends

Can't believe the responses in this thread... Seinfeld without a shadow of doubt.

Yeah, Seinfeld by some distance for me. Although I was a big Friends fan.

Agree with what Swervy said tho, Curb Your Enthusiasm is absolutely top banana. My absolutely favourite scene ever is Larry having the pubic hair he had stuck in this throat dislodged after he gets into a fight with Joseph for making inappropriate remarks about Mary.

Yeah, Although I liked Friends fan too, there's just no comparison between the two. A more even comparison would be SEINFELD Vs SIMPSONS
