Icon6 What is the meaning of your name?

What is the meaning of your name?

The question that I am asked the most is the meaning of my name and how did it origionate.

Well, my name is taken from Yajurveda, one of hindus holy books. It is made from two words : Yaju and veda. In sanskrit when the u of Yaju and e of veda combine the word becomes Yajurveda.

My last name is Arya because I belong to the Arya Samaj.

I am interested in knowing the meanings of names of a few members, especially Sudeep Popat.

i dont know what they mean or where they originated, but...

my last name cameron is the name of a scottish clan (my dad's side is scottish)
i got my first name andrew when my parents couldn't decide between james or alexander for my name, and then the doctor casually remarked how he and his wife couldn't decide on a name for their son either, and they eventually called him andrew. my parents obviously had an epiphany and decided to call me andrew...
