    Pommie Returns!

    Whey!

Hello people, just thought I'd announce that, after a week long absense from CricketWeb, I am now back!

I don't know whether any of you guys really noticed (or missed me ) but I'll explain while I was away anyway. Well, I had not been feeling well for a little while after I was having stomach pains which were getting quite severe so last Monday I went to see my GP again and she then sent me hospital. It turns out that I had to have my Appendix out so that's where I have been for the past week, stuck in a bloody hospital with wires hanging out of me!

The Doc's said it was a good thing I went back to see my GP when I did as it was only getting worse and may have even burst fairly soon which can prove to be fatal so I think myself quite lucky. The Doc also said it had already infected part of my bowel so they had to remove that as well.

Anyway, I had the operation last Tuesday and was discharged yesterday so I'm now back at home starting my recovery period of probably 6-8 weeks (no work! Woohoo!)

Anyway, just wanted to say it's great to be back I missed you all while I was in hospital.

    Cheers,
    Lee

Ouch! Would have wished you a speedy recovery, but as that would mean you'd have to go to work sooner, I guess you don't want that

Isn't it strange that when some one tells you about their operation, you straight away want to tell them about yours? Or is that just me? Anyway welcome back, lets hope you don't have to go to hospital for another operation ever again

    Welcome back, Pommie.

I know what you're talking about. I had an appendicitis removal operation too, when I was 14.

    Welcome back mate.

I remember when I had my appendix out, I had stomach pains and they woke me up about 6:30ish, mum told me there must be something wrong because it was the earliest I had got up in months.

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!
