I'm more worried about the drink problem here, especially among seriously young people, than the general dumbing down of popular culture, which is probably just us growing up.. Television for one, is at its lowest ebb for many years though.. |

well how many fat, shaved headed, football shirt wearing middle aged men do you see anywhere else in the world ?
the fact that you get this trash in england just shows how crap things are here at the moment. |

You're all just getting older and starting to suffer from rose-tinted glasses.
The fabric of the world's hardly changing, it's just in different colours and you're just seeing in a different light.

listen to yourself sledger, you sound like a right Tory
what countries have you been to where you don't see similar people, i've certainly seen them in Italy, France, Germany, Ireland and others. When you got to countries on holiday, its not like you're seeing a typical representation of that country.

I'm Alex, I'm 14 and I live in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham. I like cricket (obviously), football, and some other sports.
I'm not sure what i want to do when i get older, I just know quite a lot of things I don't want to/couldn't be. Last edited by The Baconator; 22-05-2005 at 02:43 PM. |
