I am indeed looking forward to the derbies against Ipswich next season. They have a different atmosphere to other matches and it feels so rewarding to win them. Also, thanks to everyone who has welcomed me to Cricket Web so far. I'm delighted to be here.

I'm Neil, 19, second year Economics undergrad at Exeter Uni. I'm another one who people often think is a lot older than I actually am (I was asked if I was my mum's husband the other day.. ) - and I've known for ages that maturity and age don't have much to do with each other. I'm also particularly keen on a career in journalism - and I'd recommend anyone with an interest in it to apply to join the CricketWeb writing team. I've been writing here for three years and it's certainly helped me.I'm a massive cricket fan - I have been ever since I was four and I saw Graham Gooch smash 333 against India at Lord's. I coach, umpire, score and do basically everything possibly related to cricket in my spare time - but I'm one of the least talented players on earth. I'm also a big Exeter City fan. I think topping this one's a good call, fingers crossed it'll do what no other thread in the history of CW has done and stay on topic. Welcome to all new members
