Welcome, Tom. I don't really hang out much in OT, but mainly CC and more particularly in the Cricket trivia quizzes on CC. Now lately I have been accused of pretending to own those threads !!

Well , I told the accuser everything on the CW is owned by a clever individual called James who founded the CW. (*sucking up to the owner * )

Anyway getting back to you, welcome !! I hope you make a few thousand posts and hang on the CW for a long long time, like some of us lost souls !!

Besides as a Sri Lankan I am already beginning to like you, because you will be our National Cricket Coach soon. The real Tom (affectionately called Big Tom - for his height ) is an affable, friendly and astute cricketer, IMO who has become a good coach at Worcester !! I think Sri Lanka is lucky the Indians didn't pick him , if you ask me !!
He is a younger bloke who can relate to the current crop of cricketers much better than Chappell, who has become more a fatherly figure cum strict school master type coach !!
