Are you a man, because I am!

Chopping down a big-*** tree with a blunt axe is what makes a man and quite frankly I became a man today.

I got great satisfaction as I called "timbeeeeeeeeeeeer" and realised I was finally a man.

What if you're chopping down a fake tree on the head float at the Gay Mardi Gras? Do the same rules apply? Just attempting to address some holes in the theory!

You realised that when you chopped wood? People usually realise it when they gain wood..

So before your joyous yell of "timbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer", you were unsure about your gender and were confused if you were a man or woman?

I think felling a large tree could actually be Freudian symbolism...are you a feminist by any chance?

I feel I became a man, when I was actually smart enough and mature enough to consider myself a man and not just consider myself as a youthful boy. You dont become a man by chopping wood, I feel I became a man and emerged from boyhood when I knew I could handle myself in this real world and when I became responsible for my own actions rather than being dependent on an authority figure like one's parents. Maturity speaks volumes, and I think (well I hope) I've made that transition from a stupid-idiot 14-15 year old (I was one at the time, I'm not calling all 14-15 year olds idiots! ) to a more intelligent, responsible and down to earth individual.

So all in all, I feel I became a 'real man' when I knew what I really could do in this world, and what I have to do in this world to be the best that I can be. You can't control others, but you can help control your own life.
