    Icon7 Greatest Clutch Player ?

Who is the one player you think has performed best when "under pressure", One player who has done it more than anyone else in any sport ?

For me it is Michael Jordan, I dont remember a clutch situation where he got the ball and missed it. Everytime there was a game or a season on teh line, Jordan delivered it. I really have lost count of no. of times he did it in his career, from the NCAA days till he retired as a pro.

Steve Waugh in cricket (or Bevan), Jordan is probably a fair call in basketball, but there wasn't much that anyone was better than him at. Darren Jarman in AFL (for Australians who know what I'm talking about) was amazing at that. And Wayne Carey wasn't bad either.

    Pete Sampras.

As much as I don't like the guy, he had an amazing ability to pull out an ace or a return down the line just when he needed it.

Federer will be in his class very soon, if he isn't already.

    I'm Green

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Tim Hardaway (from the Steve Kerr/Michael Bevan mould)
Sharelle McMahon (I'll cop crap over that one, but I have two sisters and a mother into netball, so it gets a lot of exposure in this household)
and something about Fred Couples rings a bell - maybe a Ryder cup or something? He had a few crazy chip ins and stuff under pressure from memory

Steve Kerr - Not in a million years. He was only a shooter, nothing else. If at all there is another Basket Ball Player who has hit big time cluch shots then then it would be Regie Miller from Indiana Pacers.

I agree about Michael Bevan, I guess What he has done for Australia in ODIs is unbelieavable.

I know a lot of people are talking NBA, but in the NBL the two players and all time greatest players Australia has ever seen were great in clutch moments - Leroy Loggins and of course the best of them all - Andrew Gaze.
