RIP Rene Rivikin
On the news about a couple of minutes ago, apparently banned Australian stock broker Rene Rivikin has taken his own life after suffering from depression.
Personally I felt he got a good deal when he got sent to prison, in prison on weekends, and at home during the week. I suppose his magazine won't be around now (assuming it still is).

Now if it was a bunch of wan.... I mean Merchant Bankers like Manchester United I'd be inclined to agree - but Leeson's definitely done his 'bird' and I don't think anyone ever suggested he was corrupt - just got out of his (and everyone else's) depth.. |
