The last line of your link amuses me
"His reign will only last a few years at most. This signals that we are living in what may be the end of days as we know it," said one Web Site entry by someone calling himself SmartBob.
If we're all dying, I want first digs on being one of the horsemen of the apocalypse.

"Death rides on a pale green horse."
Man, if the world's gonna end, I'd better well damn see that pale green horse.
It's unfortunate that no link was provided to a better description of the prophecy. I'd like to see what else, if anything, it has to say about Pope number 111 we have now.
Obviously it's rubbish, but it's interesting nonetheless.

I would like to do a bit of maths on the prophecy thing along with logical reasoning.
Every thing which starts eventually does end. The earth will get destroyed eventually.
A fact : The earth has lasted millions of years. So the probability of it being destroyed in the near future is very much minimal as it has not been destroyed in the so many near futures which ensued before the forthcoming near future in the history of the earth.
Its much more likely that Australia will lose to England in the ashes than the earth will be destroyed in the near future. And those English fans who are wishing that the earth be destroyed and they do not have to suffer another ashes defeat, prepare your sand wiches and get ready to go to the cricket grounds to see England getting whipped
i hope the end of the world does occur in the era in which we live, i really cant imagine the world existing after i die...

'Copperfield,' said Mr. Micawber, 'farewell! Every happiness and prosperity! If, in the progress of revolving years, I could persuade myself that my blighted destiny had been a warning to you, I should feel that I had not occupied another man's place in existence altogether in vain.

Oooh, Satan's Pope! That site is clearly rubbish, the one Neil linked to is quite scholarly and has some interesting stuff on it.Originally Posted by SupaFreak2005
