New Giant Airbus A380 takes off:-)
I dont know if I want to travel by this Giant. It has a capacity of 840 passengers, It will take forever to get out of the airplane and then in International flights, it would be a nightmare to have so many people going through customs, Immigration etc.
Priced at alomst $300m, I dont know how many airlines are going to be interseted in it, they already got a shock today when Air India decided to go for Boeing. |

It better be else Airbus is screwed, It has taken them 11 years and 13 Billion Dollars to come up with this. They delayed the development of A350a mid sized aircraft for this. Anyways, Airbus claims to already have 150 orders and already has a major buyer in Singapore Airlines. I guess we will have to wait and watch.

The Airbus A380 is being tested in France, Sudeep. You've no need to look up and worry.

Its a big project by Airbus, certainly an ugly bugger isn't it? Would be amazing to fly, but the Boeing 747 will never be replaced as the people's workhorse
![]() I know Emirates and Cathay have ordered loads, but South African have stayed commited to the longer version, the A340, IIRC.. |
