    It doesn't get any easier.

Thirty years later, my dad is STILL killing people.

I am going for my learners later this year. I advise anyone on Melbourne roads to watch out....

why do so many people have problems when they first learn to drive, i never had any problems, never even a near miss. You just need to be positive while learning. If you start to worry and get scared you panic and thats not good news for the rest of us...

You'd better hope not. If you're that bad a driver that you wake up behind the wheel in Australia, you really are a bad driver.

And Simon, you're dead right. I was the same - no problems at all; it just requires a LOT of self-confidence.

That's pretty hard to do when your Mum chucks a "Psycho" every time you go near 5 km/h under the speed limit.

    I'm Green

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Two or three lessons in and I was fine on the roads. Had my licence almost three years now without any major hassles.

God I can't wait till I'm over 24, these bloody insurance premiums are ridiculous for young drivers here.

I think you'll find the age is 25, and trust me - you will want to wait until your 24.

Hmm, looking at my AAMI papers it says 24, but it's a bit dated I guess. And yeah, I might as well enjoy being 20, oldness doesn't really appeal to me yet

I've been driving since i was 16. At first I was bad but then everything fell into place coz it just takes time. im sure do fine as long as u do the basics (checking mirrors, blindspot, signalling) right.

Don't enjoy driving at all.. Im not a fan of the poxy little roads in this country and the oversized cars.. I want to learn after my A levels and cricket and before I go to SA, so I can fly and drive the Garden Route..

In all likelihood though I'll be flying solo before I drive solo, because I find it easier..
