Our Lord
I only just realised that Reubadoob is sittin' pretty on 9,999 posts and crying out for a tribute thread!
Amongst the myriad threads of "Congratulations, Blerkenderk, you have reached 3 posts," PeanutButterBar's attempts to get himself banned by acting like a four-year old nymphomaniac, 'turf-wars' and appreciation societies seeming to bleed liberally into the annals of CW's chronology, a true hero has stood resolutely as a reminder of times (and people) past. For some, he is one of the sole dividers between good and evil; the quintessential yin and yang embodied as one. A true gentle soul with the facility to embark on a vitriolic tirade when the situation demands it, Reuben has spent the last 9,999 posts honing his skill, sharpening his blade and learning to differentiate between when a quick injection of his personality is needed, and when he should stay the hell out, idiot. For the real golden oldies (much, much older than me), they will remember him as perhaps being a bit too 'out there' and discourteous in his younger days. I think I speak for everyone when I say he has turned himself into more of an older-brother type role-model. I know he is for me, anyway. Congratulations, Reubacubeadoobaroob. You've earned it all. I've no doubt that you'll bring in the landmark in 'The Lounge', but please, deign us with your 10,001st in here.

Congrats! I can't think of any word as cool as Reubacubeadoobaroob. How about Reubix Cube? That's kinda lame isn't it? Yes, yes it is.
Anyway, congrats again. 9999 is a hell of a lot of posts. And all of them that I've seen have been good, informative or funny and stuff like that. And of course the creator of the legendary Lounge. Last edited by _Ed_; 01-04-2005 at 07:39 AM. |

Reuben, you deserve all the tributes you get mate. You've been no doubt one of The Best members on CW and its been a pleasure to talk to you on msn, and its been fantastic reading your posts often too. Thanks for the good posts, and all the work you've put in with the CWXI project as well. Here's to many more fantastic posts! Cheers, Sangrah

Thanks heaps casson.. that was one awesome tribute .. you've been a real brah throughout the times..
And thanks to everyone else who has appreciated my presence and put up with me through the different times in CW.. I dont hate anyone in these forums yet.. and even though there has been differences and misunderstandings it is in the past.. and it was just for some good fun.. and im not the kind of person that sits and reflects on the past at all. Its been awesome knowing the people i have throughought my time at CW.. right from the start of my journey on here knowing Neil, James, Andre, Kim, Rich, Marc, sangrah,Rik to name a few.. and then until today where there are people like nibbs, cass, buddh, james, andy, liam, blewy , cloete, ed, volt, kenny, rob, slats, buggs, bench, sudeep, supah, simon, dave, richard, eddy, i could go on and on and on that is just to name a very few.. heres the full list... " http://forum.cricketweb.net/memberli...sts&pp=30<r= " I hope to carry on and be the same person you all know and appreciate.. thanks a lot to james for creating this one awesome forum.. its the only forum i have ever joined and ever will.. and the mod team for doing their job and keeping the atmosphere great..

Top effort Reub! I just wish I could have experienced all 10,000 posts because I'm sure they'd be worth the read.
