New Earthquake in Tsunami Zone

Wow, just heard this on TV.. But there is no internet confirmation on the subject yet.. Second earthquake of 8.2 on the Richter scale has just struck Banda Aceh

Yup.... a couple hrs back i was flipping through channels and when i reached CNN i saw "8.2 earthquake off indonesian coast"... Tsunami warnings were also issued in Thailand, Japan and Sri Lanka.

My first reaction was Christ not again.... its an aftershock of the boxing day earthquake though... they talked to some residents via phone and they said that there was a little panic but the earthquake did not feel as strong as the last but it still was massive... they building the people they were talking to were in was alright though so it might not be that bad.

why does it have to happen when it is spring break or other holiday weekends?
I mean was the guy really right when he said,God is punishing people?

No I mean At first when the tusnami hit,The mosq wasnt down,that was another holiday this time around it is spring break and another one,What is going to happen on summer?

these sort of things really eats you away.

Spring Break isn't holiday time in Indonesia......
Th Mosque didnt fall because it was built out of stone and it having a proper foundation.

Yeah, there will always be weird theories.

During the Gujarat earthquake, there was destruction all around Baroda, N, S, E, W, but not Baroda, not a single life lost. People said it's a blessed town. But the fact is that the soil is much harder here, something to do with the kind of water that contains in the Mahi river.
