Hard drink? I thought you meant spirits...

But, going by your standards, beer is my favourite. I'll drink lager if I'm on a bender, and draught if I feel like a lazy beer.

Spirits-wise, I'm a Malibu fan.

Have pretty much stopped drinking Alcohol now.. If I had to pick one, it would probably be Appleton Rum though

What is the difference?

Over here Lager is usually served on draught.

Draught is a bit darker and thicker compared to lager here.

I'm really too much of a puff for spirits, but if I had to drink one it'd be vodka.

I'm a beer man first & last, generally lager 'cos so few pubs round my way keep a decent bitter. Big fan of Guinness too; must be my Irish blood!

I'm guessing that's what we'd call bitter.

We've got bitter as well.

I guess we may need someone who has drunk in both countries to set us straight.

Well one question that may solve it.

When you say Lager do you get it from bottles or pumps?

I don't know what you'd classify it as, but I'm quite of a fan of the old 'Kamikaze'...
