    Icon9 And My Last Words.....

And my last words to one of my closest chick mates in melbourne on the way to the airport... "Relax sweetheart.. save your tears for a real tragedy.. I'll be back in a few months, we'll do it big then"
She was crying , said "Reub why do yo have to go..stay here.."

R.I.P to my sweetheart Jovana aka Joey.. who passed away late Monday.. its really hard.. she was one of the first people i knew in melbourne, and i spent a lot of time in melbourne with her, at the beach, partyin etc and on the phone..I guess shes in a better place too.. but i never saw it coming.. and why did she have to go that way.. so young.. she had a life to look forward too.. Its very tough.. People say i shouldnt blame myself.. but i dont quite understand that.. if i was still in melboune i could have changed her mind/reversed decision and would have been there for her.. I always seem to lose people.. Life is wack...

That's really sad, sorry to hear. Horrible thing to happen, my sympathy to you and also to her family, would be a really hard thing for them to deal with.

Hope you're doing OK Reubs.. this is one of those things that makes you go over all the "What if?"s and "If only"s in your mind... try not to mull over what you could have done dude.

I didnt believe a word what her friends told me when they called me.. I thought it was a joke and i was swearing at them sayin its not anythin to be funny about and if it bs and they worked me up for nothin they'd get it.. But then i called her home and spoke to her mum.. it was very very sad..depressing..

wow dude thats horrible. my thoughts go out to you and her family and other friends. while im not trying to compare losses, i lost a friend recently in the tsunami, and it just hits you like a wave, and makes you realise how fragile life is, and how we have to enjoy each day. im sorry, mate.

by the way, if you dont mind me asking, how did she pass away?

That is very sad, unfortunately it's one of the inevitable downsides to life. However, I trust that you will get over this... do your best to focus on the time that you spent together, rather than the time you WON'T be spending with her.

I'm sorry man, some terrible things happen and after a while you'll be able to move on. I'm sure she's in a better place. You couldn't have stayed in Melbourne, you did what you had to and that's the sad truth. Have strength mate and you'll get through this.

All my sympaties to you, and the young girl's family. I personally don't know what loss feels like, so I can't really help you get throught it. Other then saying don't blame yourself. Talk to more people about it, and focus on the good things that have happened.
